"Before the VSA came about I thought I was all alone, set to drift in the world of music, a voice in the wilderness. I joined the facebook page and began to read the experiences of my fellow singer/songwriters and was amazed at how similar they all were."

"VSA is unifying the voices of those silenced by the industry's unfair practices. The music business can be isolating when everyone is in competition for the unequal distribution of rewards. VSA is proving that supporting one another will always take us farther than we could go alone."

"The VSA has helped me and so many singer-songwriters, who have in one way or another felt hard-done-by, in our cut throat industry... Thanks for giving us a shoulder to lean on, and someone to turn to... It reassuring to know that the VSA is there, I feel much more confident within myself when negotiating deals. Thanks VSA!"

"VSA is an amazing initiative, now there's finally a platform where vocalists/songwriters can support each other wherever necessary. I will definitely refer new vocal talent to VSA as a starting point if they want to learn more about how to get around in the music industry."

Welcome to the VSA!  Vocalist Songwriter Alliance

The VSA is a new non-profit organisation exclusively for professional vocalist/songwriters in all genres of music.

Over the last few years, we have noticed a common pattern in the industry. Vocalist/songwriters have been finding it very hard to find any modicum of regulation and security in the minefield of the music industry. We kept hearing about your dissatisfaction and how you wanted things to change. You wanted to see the music industry become more fair and balanced on both a creative and a business level.

The VSA saw that this was an opportunity to create an Alliance that would unite professional vocalists/songwriters throughout the world and together, strive for regulation, security, mutual support and value.

Our ethos is to provide information that will help protect all copyright and intellectual property rights of any vocalist/songwriters affiliated with the VSA. To work together, to change the integral mindset of the industry. To finally have one voice.
